Earth Hour 2019 | Green Park Lights Out
On Saturday 28 March, Green Park successfully took part in Earth Hour for the seventh consecutive year.
Starting as a symbolic light’s out event in Sydney 2007, Earth Hour is now the world’s largest grassroots movement for the environment, inspiring millions of people to take action for our planet and nature. Every year millions of people, businesses and landmarks set aside an hour to host events, switch off their lights and make noise for Earth Hour.
Whilst ensuring as many of the buildings as possible were in darkness (with the exception of the emergency lighting) our Maintenance Team took before and after photos to demonstrate the effectiveness of taking part in this worldwide event. Below are some examples.
