Earth Hour 2022
Earth Hour reminds us that even small actions can make a big difference!
The lights-off event was started in Sydney, Australia in 2007 by the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) to raise awarness for nature loss and climate change – two of the biggest threats facing our shared planet.
Here at Green Park we’ve been taking part in this global movement for many years and this year was no exception!
This year, Green Park switched off the main building and car park lighting at 200 Longwater Avenue, with the exception of the emergency lighting, for the duration of Earth Hour on Saturday 26th March. The Green Park mast lighting was also switched off as a visual display of our commitment to our environment.
To demonstrate our participation, we were able to capture footage from the event.
