Turn your lunch break into an opportunity to learn about an idea that has redefined the global economy as we know it.

Following up from the non-technical introduction to cryptocurrency, GROW@Green Park invites you to join them for a series of five weekly seminars where you will learn how exactly bitcoin works in just a few lunch break sessions. Book for each session individually using the links below.

From week the seminars will dive into technical details of blockchain and mining – the fundamental concepts driving the bitcoin network. Next they will touch on public key cryptography – a decades old technology that is at the core of bitcoin’s security. You will also learn about public and private keys, bitcoin address, wallets, transactions, network forks and more.

The course will conclude with an advice on how to stay friends with the taxman while using bitcoin, discussion of regulation challenges and best practice recommendations. Each session will take approximately 30 min + time for open discussion.

Week 3, Thursday 27/09/18, 12.30 – 1.30pm – wallets, block explorers

Week 5, Thursday 11/10/18, 12.30 – 1.30pm – tax, regulation & best practice

This course will be delivered to you by Wojciech Rzadkosz. Wojciech is an engineer and a cryptocurrency enthusiast. He joined Grow@Green Park – a community driven co-working space – in search for a nest for his company focusing on developing autonomous trading algorithms leveraging the volatile nature of cryptocurrencies.

Who is it for?

Whether you are completely new to this space, or you already have some understanding but you just want to know more we believe you will find this course insightful and useful. Though some parts will be quite technical, this course is appropriate for everyone who is curious about the blockchain technology.
