Green Park Sleep Out in Support of Launchpad

The Green Park Sleep Out is now open for registration!

This popular fundraising event returns to Green Park on Thursday 5th October in aid of World Homeless Day. We will be raising money for LaunchPad, a local charity who work to support people in Reading who are vulnerable to homelessness.

Agenda
19:00 – Meet at 100 Longwater Avenue Car Park for an introduction from Events Manager, Jenny Barnes
19:30 – Food to be served
20:00 – Cardboard Shelter-Making Competition (Boxes and Tape will be supplied but you may want to bring along some additional items to decorate your shelter)
20:45 – Quiz
21:15 – Entertainment whilst enjoying hot chocolate and marshmallows

Don’t forget to bring along your own sleeping bag!

The event will officially close at 7am on Friday 6th October with breakfast served in the atrium of 100 Longwater Avenue.

To take part all you need to do is RSVP to the event and complete and return the registration form to Events Manager, Jenny Barnes on jenny.barnes@greenpark.co.uk.
