Hedgehog Tunnel Workshop
Once a common sighting and now a rarity within UK gardens, parks and hedgerows, hedgehogs are on a rapid decline due to habitat destruction and water deprivation.
It has been suggested that hedgehog numbers have declined by over a third between the years of 2003 and 2012.
Here at Green Park we are enhancing our habitats to encourage as much biodiversity as possible, hedgehogs being one of many small mammals on site we would like to encourage.
Why not join us in our hedgehog tunnel workshop held on Tuesday 21st May, from 12:00 – 13:00 where we will be constructing hedgehog tunnels to survey the population of these small, elusive creatures on-site.
If you would like to take part in this activity please email Emma Smith.
