The Big Garden Bird Watch
Green Park is once again taking part in the Big Garden Bird Watch to support The Royal Society for the Protection of Birds with the world’s largest garden wildlife survey.
We would like to invite you to join us for an hour on Monday 27 January to count the many different species of birds we have at Green Park. Meeting at 100 Longwater Avenue at 13:00, we will be touring the park on the look out for birds, to discover the most common types.
Attendees may benefit from bringing along a set of binoculars with them as the tour will include looking at slightly more distant birds or any birds flying over head. Please dress appropriately for the weather and walking conditions – we would suggest either walking boots or trainers, warm clothes and gloves.
Please contact our Biodiversity Coordinator, Faye Kelland if you would like to take part.
If you would like to take part in this wildlife survey but are unable to attend our event, please visit the RSPB website for further information.
Photographs will be taken for marketing purposes. If you do not wish to have your photograph taken, please see a member of the Green Park Events Team at this event.
