The WIBN Reading group is excited to be homed in a new venue from April 2024!  Meeting monthly at Green Park Conference Centre.

The Reading group supports a number of professionals from solopreneurs, to small-to-medium sized firms, to international brands, all with one thing in common – the desire to connect, collaborate and support each other’s businesses.  Many of the individuals have been members for a number of years and we warmly welcome visitors to come along and see if we are the right group for you.

At WIBN there is no hard sell or targeted referrals. The best networks work by building trusted relationships over time, so it’s important that our members attend their monthly meetings. This is our culture and as a result, business gets passed and opportunities are created. Your group colleagues become your greatest ambassadors, sharing your business to their connections and contacts in between meetings.

The Reading group is a friendly meeting hosted by experienced networker and coach and mentor for women in business, Vicki Messenger. The group brings together businesswomen from Reading and surrounding areas with a wide range of professional experience, so there is plenty of opportunity to gain support and share expertise and business contacts.

WIBN groups thrive when new businesses visit, so please join our next meeting and tell us about your business!

WIBN group members build strong business relationships through our regular monthly meetings and informal monthly coffee mornings. Members also receive access to the members area of the WIBN website.

Non-members are most welcome to visit up to 2 WIBN meetings per year. Members can visit any other WIBN group up to 4 times a year.

  • Reading Group Members: included in membership fees
  • Visitors: £35
  • WIBN Members: £30

  • 12:15pm – Lunch and Open Networking
  • 12:30pm – Welcome and ‘One Minute Pitches’
  • 1:00pm – Business Spotlight (focus on one member’s business)
  • 1:15pm – Business Topic
  • 1:30pm – Let’s Talk Business! Your chance to request 121s, share testimonials, and pass business contacts
  • 1:50pm – AOBs and Close
