Green Park Winter Wonderland 2018

On Thursday 6th December, Lime Square was transformed into a magical Winter Wonderland for all of Green Park to enjoy.

This is the fifth year of holding the event, that brought the occupiers of Green Park together to start the joyful celebrations with complimentary mulled wine and mince pies. With the addition of new retailers to the German-Style Market offering delights such as handmade ornaments, sweet delicacies, children’s toys and books, Christmas wreathes, trees and decorations, a wide range of accessories and handbags with clothing to match.

Occupiers enjoyed a variety of delicious food on offer from German Bratwurst, StrEATfood Spain and Cantina el Burrito whilst watching a selection of entertainers ranging from a Christmas Pudding to fairies and elves. To accompany this we had the cheerful vocals of this year’s Green Park Rock Choir for all to enjoy. Fun was also had by those who took part in the festive activities which included Snow Throw, Hook-a-Christmas-Duck and Pin the Nose on the Reindeer.

Amongst all of the celebrations, Father Christmas and his reindeer made a guest appearance, giving gifts to the children of the Green Park Nursery and meeting the occupiers of Green Park.
