Record number of bats on the park!

August has been all about the bats at Green Park. The bat box near 100 Longwater contained 8 bats which has never been recorded on the park before. We were lucky enough to be working with a class 2 bat licenced ecologist, so were able to handle some of the bats we found.

10 new bat boxes have been put up around the lake replacing some of the broken or damaged boxes. The new boxes have a small wooden bat on them so are easily identifiable.
